Skills & Experience
Must-have:
- At least 5 years commercial experience in a PHP/Laravel/MySQL environment
- Proven ability to design, build and deliver complex web applications to enterprise clients
- Fluent git skills
- Some knowledge of front-end JS frameworks, ideally Vue.js
- Excellent communication and team-working skills
- A thorough understanding of the principles of Clean Code
Nice-to-have:
- Working with very large data-sets
- ElasticSearch (or other document-based database systems)
- Web-scraping technologies & strategies
- Docker
- Puppeteer
- Nginx / Apache / Linux administration
- AWS (including EC2, S3, RDS, ElasticBeanstalk)
- Other programming languages
- Foreign language skills – especially reading ability in Spanish & other European languages, Arabic, Russian, Chinese, or Japanese.

- Leading the design & development of new and existing software products
- Delivery of high-quality code
- Helping the team build, test and release cool things faster, better and smarter.
- Communicating clearly and constructively with dev team colleagues and project stakeholders
- Peer-reviewing your fellow developers’ work
