The team at stickee are thrilled to announce that our talented Development Director, James Nestoruk, was awarded with the title of ‘Birmingham’s Young Professional of The Year Technology Award’ last night.
Held at the ICC, the event gathered talented individuals from across Birmingham to recognise their hard work and achievements. After applying and completing the interview process, the judges were impressed with his passion to make Birmingham a hub for technology.
Following the interviews, James was shortlisted in the Technology category with two other finalists in April. With team members joining him to show support at the event, they were all delighted when James was announced as the winner for the category.
On winning the award James said:
“It was an honour to take part in the BYPY awards and I can’t thank my mentors and colleagues at Stickee, the event organisers, judges and sponsors enough. A quick shout out to all the other winners and finalists too, we had a really talented group of young professionals at the event and seeing that gives me high hopes for the future of the city.”
James and the team at stickee had a fantastic evening amongst some of the finest young talent in Birmingham. We are incredibly proud of James and we are sure this award will only motivate him to do more great things.
